Vidianos Roussos is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of RNR Engineers, with more than 24 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering, tunnel engineering and underground infrastructure.

His professional expertise focuses on geotechnical assessment, rock mechanics, tunnel engineering, deep excavations and technical support for complex infrastructure projects. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the planning, design, independent review and construction support of major infrastructure projects in Greece and abroad, covering every stage of the project lifecycle—from ground investigations and feasibility studies to detailed design, construction support and the assessment of existing infrastructure.

He believes that successful engineering solutions are not defined solely by accurate calculations, but by a thorough understanding of ground behaviour, engineering geology, construction methodology and the specific challenges of each project. His approach combines analytical design with engineering judgement developed through continuous involvement in construction projects and close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Engineering Philosophy

"Successful geotechnical engineering is not achieved through numerical analysis alone. It requires a thorough understanding of ground behaviour, engineering geology and construction methods, transforming complex technical data into solutions that are safe, practical and economically efficient."
